My practise explores how technological advancement and traditional systems of belief reinforce a women’s purpose to procreate. By Illustrating worship and submission to biological impulse and the role of the male figure and sex as a dominant force over female autonomy.
The concepts within my practise are drawn from my personal relationships, symbolism of biological models of reproduction and religious iconography. Working across disciplines of self-portraiture, performance video and sculptural installation to build narratives on subjects and concepts of subjects of manipulation, sexual desire and reproduction.
